About Great Lakes Conference on Food Protection
The Great Lakes Conference on Food Protection (GLCFP) is a regional association dedicated to fostering uniform and effective laws affecting food, drugs, cosmetics, medical devices, and consumer products. We foster a participatory process for law and policy development. We encourage and support programs that contribute to food safety and consumer protection.
GLCFP's mission is to encourage uniformity in the enactment and enforcement of laws affecting foods, drugs, cosmetics, medical devices, and consumer products.
We are dedicated to the goals of Conference for Food Protection (CFP), the international Association of Food and Drug Officials (AFDO), and the regional affiliate, the North Central Association of Food and Drug Officials (NCAFDO).
